Crypto wallets - an overview: Bitcoin (BTC)

BitcoinBitcoin (BTC)

You can "store" your first Bitcoins in one of the many wallets out there, but for the beginning cryptoN00b highly recommends to visit and work with one of wallets listed there.

A safe wallet is the Bitcoin core wallet, but beware: it is a full node and downloads the whole blockchain which takes time and more than 250 GB of space.

For his first Bitcoins cryptoN00b used the Electrum wallet. It's the simple and light version of a wallet: you can start right away with sending or receiving Bitcoins. But no matter what wallet you will be using, follow all safety instructions.
